Dotty Mae Reel, daughter of the late Roy and Rethel (Mitchell) Clark, was born November 21, 1934, in Rayborn, Missouri, and departed this life June 19, 2018, at Ozarks Medical Center in West Plains, Missouri. She was 83 years, 6 months, and 29 days of age.

Dotty was born and raised on a farm near Rayborn. She had good memories of a happy childhood. She married Frank Hopkins and they enjoyed working together on their dairy farm for twenty years. She owned and operated Brandywine Package in Cabool and Hartville, Missouri, and for a short time in Houston, Missouri. In 1983, she married Billy Gene Reel.

She loved to garden and had quite a green thumb. She was always a strong and independent woman. In her spare time, Dotty, loved to read books.

Besides her parents, Dotty was preceded in death by her husband of 21 years, Billy Gene Reel, one son, David Lee Sanders, one brother, Billy Clark, two infant sisters, and one niece, Kimberly Blanchette.

She is survived by two daughters, Jeanette Sanders of Willow Springs, Missouri, and Arlene Dorris and her husband, Kevin, of Pomona, Missouri, two sisters, Jenny Fischer and Charlotte Holt and her husband, Lonnie, all of Mountain Grove, Missouri, four grandchildren, Michael Clark, Shane Patterson, Stormy Sanders, and Skylar Sanders, six great-grandchildren, her ex-husband, Frank Hopkins, three nephews, Robert Hutsell and his wife, Vickie, Joe Clark, and Rick Clark and his wife, Tammy, two nieces, Mary Jo Manion and her husband, Frank, and Kristy, four great-nephews, six great nieces, two great-great nephews, one great-great niece, and many other relatives and friends who will miss her sweet spirit.
