Kathryn L. Priest

Kathryn Louise Priest (Mitchem) of Fleming Island, Florida (Born April 25, 1954, Married July 1, 1972) was laid to rest at Hillcrest cemetery in Mountain Grove, Missouri on Saturday May 27, 2017. A simple, intimate, graveside ceremony in celebration of her life was attended by immediate family members, as per her request and wishes.
Kathryn was under hospice care at the time of passing from this life, on Friday November 11, 2016. She had fought a prolonged battle with serious health issues. Her passing was in the company of her husband, sister and her nieces and the caring angels of Vitas Hospice in her home in Florida.
Cremation services were performed in Florida. It was her desire to be returned to Missouri and laid to rest with her parents, KC (Keith) and Patsy (Pat) Mitchem. Kathryn is survived by her dedicated and loving husband of 44 years, Clyde M. Priest Jr. of Hannibal, Missouri; her sister, Bonnie K. Dean (Mitchem) of Richmond, Mo; and her two nieces: Rashelle (Shelley) M. Dotson of Lawson, Missouri and Rebecca (Becky) L. Boyd of Plattsburg, Missouri and their families.
