Abhc Charles G. Burrow Usn (Ret)

October 21, 1932 — September 16, 2014

ABHC Charles Grady Burrow USN (RET), son of the late Charley and Mary (Carpenter) Burrow, was born on October 21, 1932 in Lake City, Arkansas and departed this life on September 16, 2014 at Ozarks Medical Center in West Plains, Missouri. He was 81 years of age.

Charles Chuck was born and raised in Lake City, Arkansas. Chuck joined the Navy and served his county for thirty years. He served as a Boatswains Mate and later a Drill Instructor. Chuck retired from the Navy and then owned and operated his own dump truck in the Jonesboro, Arkansas area.

He enjoyed playing the bass guitar with country gospel groups and also in area churches. Chuck married Lillian Adams on January 13, 1994 in Ava, Missouri. Chuck and Lillian belonged to several car clubs in Mountain Grove, Ava, and West Plains.

Other than his parents, Chuck was preceded in death by one son: Mike Burrow; three brothers; and one sister.

Chuck is survived by his wife, Lillian, of their home in West Plains, Missouri; one son: Kenneth Burrow of Jonesboro, Arkansas; one grandchild: Rebecca; and other family and friends.
