Abraham Lincoln Shelley, son of the late Thomas and Rosie (Skaggs) Shelley, was born on February 10, 1917 in Fowler, Missouri and departed this life on July 23, 2010 at his residence near Cabool, Missouri. He was 93 years, 5 months and 13 days of age.
Abraham grew up in Texas County and was united in marriage to Audra Crewse on November 9, 1938 in Houston, Missouri. Two children were born to this union. They were married for seventy-one years.
Abraham enjoyed farming throughout his life. He loved to ride his horses and he enjoyed going on trail rides with his friends and family.
He was a caring and kind husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family, grandson and great-grandsons. He will be truly missed by those who knew and loved him.
He was of the Pentecostal faith. Abraham loved God, his family and his many friends.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by six brothers and five sisters.
He is survived by his loving wife: Audra Shelley, of their home in Texas County; one son: E. Jay Shelley of Cabool, Missouri; one daughter: Donna Kullmar of O’Fallon, Missouri; one sister: Eva Ford of Pendleton, Oregon; one grandson: Matt Kullmar; two great-grandsons: Tyler and Anthony Newcome; nieces; nephews; and other relatives and friends.

Sunday, July 25th, 6:00 - 8:00 PM in the Chapel.
