Alexis Hope Wilson

Alexis Hope Wilson, daughter of Teresa (Mitchell) Wilson and Gary Wilson, was born December 23, 1997, in Houston, Missouri, and passed away August 19, 2019, at 11:55 PM, near Versailles, Missouri. She was 21 years, 7 months, and 27 days of age.

Alexis was a graduate of Mansfield High School, class of 2016. Following high school she worked at Copeland. She loved spending time in the great outdoors, particularly when camping. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by one grandfather, James Glen Mitchell, one great-grandmother, Beulah Adams, one great-grandfather, Vernon McGowen, and several other relatives.

Alexis is survived by her mother, Teresa Wilson and boyfriend, Tim Carter, of Mountain Grove, Missouri, her father, Gary Wilson and wife, Jennifer, of Mansfield, Missouri, brother, Dalton Baugh of Mountain Grove, step-siblings Dylan, Garrett, and Jordan McChesney of Mansfield, maternal grandparents, Verna and Randall Griffin of Mountain Grove, one step-grandmother, Karen Riley of Mansfield, paternal grandparents Ted and Geri Hemby of Queen City, Missouri, grandmother, Connie Barbour of Ava, Missouri, and grandfather, Bill Shea also of Ava, aunts, Melissa Parsons and husband, William, of Mountain Grove, Jessica Tison and husband, Antonio, of Clifton, Arizona, Amber Branham and husband, David of Mansfield, Heather Vandiver and boyfriend, David Henry, of Seymour, Missouri, Melanie Hanger and husband, Nathan, of Mansfield, Geriann Bruch and husband, Tony, of Silverton, Oregon, and Carol Marlow of Winlock, Washington, uncles, Morgan Williams and wife, Rachel, of Willow Springs, Missouri, Nathaniel Hemby and wife, Sheila, of Lacey, Washington, and Carl Wilson and wife, Lada, of Sweethome, Oregon, and a host of other aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, and friends who will miss her dearly.
