Alice Lucille Sherbon

Alice Lucille Sherbon, daughter of the late John and Zella (Rumfelt) Austin, was born on March 10, 1931 in St. George, Missouri, and departed this life on March 1, 2013 at her residence near Willow Springs, Missouri. She was 81 years, 11 months, and 19 days of age.
Alice grew up and attended a rural school north of Mtn. Grove, Missouri. She moved to California, where she made her home for thirty-nine years before moving back to Missouri.
She was united in marriage to Darrell Sherbon in the early 1980’s. He passed away in 2005.
Alice enjoyed being outdoors, especially when gardening and taking care of her flowers. She also loved spending time with her two white German Shepherd dogs and her four Samoyed dogs.
Besides her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her brother: Francis Austin in 2006; and by infant twin brothers: Johnny Ronald and Billy Donald Austin.
She is survived by her sister-in-law: Oscar Belle Austin of Mtn. Grove, Missouri; a cousin: Audrey Gourley of Hartville, Missouri; three step-children; and other friends, neighbors and relatives who will sadly miss her.
