Alvin Dale Robertson

Alvin Dale Robertson, son of the late William Ira and Ginoth (Tate) Robertson, was born December 25, 1930 in Bendavis, Missouri, and departed this life May 16, 2017 at Autumn Oaks Caring Center in Mountain Grove, Missouri. He was 86 years, 4 months, and 22 days of age.
Dale grew up in the Bendavis community. He served his country in the United States Air Force. Dale married Judith Gilliland on July 25, 1964 in Mountain Grove by Rev. Archie Coomer. Two sons were born to this union.
Dale worked for Clinton Township in road maintenance for many years. He also had a beef cattle farm for many years. He enjoyed being outdoors and spending his time working on his farm. He especially liked cutting brush.
Besides his parents, Dale was preceded in death by his wife, Judith Robertson, one son, James Robertson, three brothers, Earl, Orville, and Norman Robertson, and by three sisters, Faye Blackman, Bernice Sexton, and Helen Maxvill.
He is survived by one son, Bill Robertson and his wife, Rosalie, of Mountain Grove, four brothers, Don Robertson of Mountain Grove, Robert Robertson and his wife, Teresa, of Kansas City, Missouri, Francis Robertson of Mountain Grove, and Dean Robertson and his wife, Sharon, of Springfield, Missouri, one sister, Shirley Goforth and her husband, Warren, of St. Robert, Missouri, one brother-in-law, Bob Gilliland and his wife, Brenda, of Mountain Grove, one sister-in-law, Mary Ross of the state of Arkansas, four grandchildren, Andrew Olsen, Monica Olsen, Allyssa Olsen, and Hailey Ring, one great-grandchild, Abigail Cox, and other family and friends who will miss him dearly.
