Andres T. “Andy” Reyes, son of the late Jose and Guadalupe (Trujillo) Reyes, was born on October 17, 1948 in San Francisco, Mexico, and departed this life suddenly on March 20, 2011 at his residence near Mtn. Grove, Missouri, at 62 years of age.
Andy grew up and attended school in Mexico and moved to the United States in 1959. He graduated from Venice High School in Los Angeles, California. He served his country in the United States Army.
He was employed by Lear/Seigler in California where he worked as a mail coordinator for thirty-five years.
He was united in marriage to Martha Eileen Brandon on May 26, 1989 in Las Vegas, Nevada. They retired and moved to the Mtn. Grove Community in 2000. He and Martha enjoyed traveling and collecting antiques. He also liked being outdoors enjoying nature and in his spare time he liked to do woodworking projects.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother.
He is survived by his wife: Martha Reyes of their home; two sons: Samuel Jensen of Oak Dale, Tennessee, and Nicholas Poulas of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; one daughter: June Cynthia Brenes of Oak Dale, Tennessee; six brothers; three sisters: seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.
