Anna Jo (Borden) Arnold

Anna Jo (Borden) Arnold, daughter of the late Melvin Howard and Mildred (Crane) Borden, was born on February 13 1955 in Mtn. Grove, Missouri and departed this life on February 15, 2011 in the Dallas County Care Center in Buffalo, Missouri, following a long illness. She was 56 years and 2 days of age.
Anna grew up and attended school in Mtn. Grove and graduated from Mtn. Grove High School in 1973. She was united in marriage to Frank Arnold in the late 1970’s. Two children were born to this union.
Anna was a homemaker who loved her family and tending to her flower and vegetable gardens each year. She enjoyed cooking, fishing and helping those around her that had a need. She will be truly missed by those who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her son: Rocky Arnold of Bentonville, Arkansas; her daughter: Amy Arnold of Mtn. Grove, Missouri; two sisters: Glenda Bell and her husband, Raymond, of Mtn. Grove, Missouri and Shirley Ratterree and her husband, Thomas, of Marshfield, Missouri; one grandchild: Tristan Burns; a special friend from the nursing home: Clifford King; and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss her very much.

Graveside Service:
Thursday, February 17, 3:30 PM in the Lone Star Cemetery

Visitation:
No Formal – Friends may call at their convenience in the funeral home on Wednesday, February 16, 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM.
