Bobby Joe Pamperien

February 13, 1933 — December 12, 2012

Bobby Joe Pamperien, son of the late Fred T. and Mary Jane (Wheat) Pamperien, was born on February 13, 1933 in Buckhart, Missouri, and departed this life on December 12, 2012 in the Autumn Oaks Caring Center in Mtn. Grove, Missouri, following a long illness. He was 79 years, 9 months, and 29 days of age.
Bobby grew up in the Buckhart Community and attended Buckhart Elementary School and Mtn. Grove High School. He attended Pleasant Home Church in his younger years and later attended Southside Baptist Church in Mtn. Grove, where he rededicated his life to God and was baptized on March 21, 2004. As a young boy, Bob enjoyed the farm life, hunting, and keeping check on his rabbit gums. During his life, one of his greatest passions was coon hunting and owning good quality hunting dogs.
In 1952, he enlisted in the United States Army and served in the Korean Conflict. After returning home, he was united in marriage to Oleta Amos in 1956. A son, Randy, and a daughter, Tammie, were born to this union. They owned and operated a beef and dairy farm near Buckhart, Missouri for nineteen years.
In 1989, he was united in marriage to Cheryl Tandy. A daughter, Emilee Nicole, was born to this union. They lived in Davenport, Iowa and later moved back to the Mtn. Grove area. While living in Iowa, Bob was employed by the H.J. Heinz Company and after moving back to Missouri, he worked for the Mtn. Grove School District before retiring in 2005.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Cheryl in 1998; one brother: Charles, who was killed in Germany during World War II; and by one sister: Geneva in 2010.
He is survived by his son: Randy Pamperien and his wife, Aleta, of Mtn. Grove; two daughters: Tammie Davis and her husband, Kenneth “Rabbit” Davis, of Hartville, Missouri, and Emilee Pamperien of Mtn. Grove; two step-children: T.L. Burdick and his wife, Carmen, of Muscatine, Iowa, and Heather Millsap and her husband, Dwayne, of Kansas City, Kansas; eleven grandchildren; Jolene, Ashley, Kayla, Tallie, Anthony, Courtney, Ayla, Seth, Tabitha, Olivia, and Chelsie; thirteen great-grandchildren; and one niece: Kay Rogers of Mtn. Grove, whom he loved like one of his own.
Bob had a very outgoing personality and loved making people laugh. He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.
