Bobby Joe Reser

March 12, 1958 — April 7, 2014

Bobby Joe Cowboy Reser, son of the late Vernon Ray and Verla Lorene (Hicks) Reser, was born on March 12, 1958 in Tulare, California, and passed away suddenly on April 7, 2014 at his residence in Mtn. Grove, Missouri, at 56 years of age.
Bobby grew up and attended school in Exeter, California and moved to Mtn. Grove in 1998.
He enjoyed life and being with the ones he loved most. He was a great father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was loved unconditionally and will be greatly missed by those who knew him.
His favorite possession in life was his cowboy hat. His thought was you dont touch the cowboy. He was the best person to be around and he loved making those around him happy. He was always putting others needs before his own.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers: Carl Reser, Lonnie Reser, Melvin Reser, and Marvin Reser; and by three sisters: Betty Dennis, Lucille Reser, and Dottie Fay Reser.
He is survived by three beautiful daughters: Brandi Emery and her husband, Jason, of Mtn. Grove, Missouri, Crystal Daily of West Plains, Missouri, and Trista Russell-Everling and her husband, Ryan, of Machesney Park, Illinois; seven grandchildren: Logan Emery, Dillon Holt, Gracie Daily and Hunter Daily, all of Mtn. Grove, Missouri, Nathan McFarlin of Cabool, Missouri, Bradley Everling and Brandon Everling, both of Machesney Park, Illinois; four brothers: Herbert Reser and his wife, Pixie Reser, of Mtn. Grove, Missouri, Howard Reser and his wife, Brenda, of Lindcove, California, Curtis Reser and his wife, Nellie, of Visalia, California, and Dean Reser and his wife, Judy, of Mtn. Grove, Missouri; one sister: Donna Bonds and husband, Larry, of Exeter, California; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Bobby will always be missed, but never forgotten by so many.
We would like to express a special thanks to Rocky Gilbert, Sr. and his family for all they did for Bobby.
