Carole Ann Maloney Jackson passed away at her home on April 24, 2011. She finally won the long-term disability battle while surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on February 26, 1942 in Chillicothe, Missouri to Wayne L. Maloney and Adeline R. (Snowden) Maloney. She was first married to Charles Bolfing in 1959, then to the late Ralph C. Jackson in 1978.
She is survived by one daughter: Sarah Barnett (Danny), of Mtn. Grove; one brother: David Maloney of Jefferson City, Missouri; one sister: Jane Putnam (Bill) of Liberty, Missouri; three grandsons: Brandon Bolfing (Jamie) of Norwood, Missouri, Ryan Scheets, Eddie Ellingwood, both of Mtn. Grove; two step-sons: Patrick and Tyler Barnett, both of Mtn. Grove; three great-grandsons and three step-great-granddaughters; one niece: Merideth Nitzel; two nephews: Matt Putnam and Michael Maloney.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a little brother: Jimmy Maloney; and by a sister-in-law: Shirley Maloney.
She was a 1959 graduate of Jefferson City High School, Metro Business College. She had been employed by Lincoln Nursing Center, Oak Tree Villas in Jefferson and Russellville Schools until illness forced her retirement.
She was a member of the Congregation of Jehovah’s Witness in Jefferson City and most recently the Congregation of Cabool, Missouri; her wishes were to have a memorial service to be held in Cabool, on Thursday, April 28th at 7:00 PM. Interment will be a private family time at Walnut Grove Cemetery.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home, Mtn. Grove. Memorials may be sent to the family, donor’s choice or Hospice of West Plains, Missouri c/o the funeral home.
