Charles Robert Kalnas

Charles Robert Kalnas, son of Peter and Jane (Haige) Kalnas, was born August 16, 1963, in Camden, New Jersey, and departed this life June 28, 2019, at his home near Hartville, Missouri. He was 55 years, 10 months, and 12 days of age.

Charles, better known as Chuck, grew up in Monroeville, New Jersey and graduated from Delsea Regional High School and Gloucester County Vocational School in 1981. Chuck served in the United States Marine Corps. He was united in marriage to Belinda G. Sockwell in 1983. He enjoyed farming while living in New Jersey. In 1996 Chuck and his family moved to Missouri where began working for the Department of Corrections.

Chuck was preceded in death by his mother, Jane Kalnas.

He is survived by his loving wife, Belinda G. Kalnas of the home, one son, Paul R. Kalnas of Missouri, one daughter, Amy Lynn Goodloe of Arizona, two grandchildren, Nathaniel Kalnas and Mackenzie Goodloe, his father, Peter Kalnas, one brother, Paul Kalnas, one sister, Shawn Kalnas, and a host of other relatives and friends. Chuck will be missed by all who love him.
