Christopher Dale Mcintyre I

December 26, 1974 — January 23, 2016

Christopher Dale McIntyre I, son of the late Charles Westley McIntyre III and Christina Lagean (Lammey) McIntyre, was born on December 26, 1974 in Wichita, Kansas, and departed this life on January 23, 2016 in McCormick County, South Carolina, at 41 years of age.

Christopher grew up and went to school in Republic, Missouri. He joined the Navy Reserves in 2001. At the time of his passing, Christopher was enrolled in Brigham Young University. Christopher had a passion for learning and enjoyed all academics, especially math.

Christopher married Denise Rene (Canaday) on February 6, 2014 in Leavenworth, Kansas. His family was very important to him and he greatly enjoyed times spent together.

Christopher had a passion for scuba diving, and especially enjoyed wreck diving and cave diving. He also loved to ride his motorcycle, even if it was cold outside, and playing Pokemon with anyone who was willing.

Christopher owned a trucking company, and because of his business, had traveled all over the United States and Canada. He was dedicated to the LDS Church and would often share scriptures in texts and on Facebook.

Christopher was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

Christopher is survived by his loving wife, Denise, of their home in Mountain Grove, Missouri; three sons: Christopher D. McIntyre II and his wife, Monique, and McCoy Buss, all of Mountain Grove, and Dillon Koenig of Hiawatha, Kansas; one daughter: Cassondra Smith and her husband, Charlie, of Mountain Grove; two grandchildren: Annalisha Tilton and Brayden Smith; and many cousins, and other family and friends who will miss him dearly.
