Clarel 'Bud' Dean Wade

Clarel Dean “Bud” Wade, son of the late Charlie Newton and Gertie Mae Ellen (Whited) Wade, was born on March 26, 1932 in Manes, Missouri, and passed away on June 23, 2007 at his home in Mtn. Grove, Missouri, following a long illness. He was 75 years, 2 months, and 27 days of age.
Bud grew up and attended school in Manes, Missouri. He was united in marriage to Janice Lavern Cooley on July 7, 1959 in Manes. One daughter was born to this union. They made their home in the Mtn. Grove area where they farmed most all their lives. He also hauled fertilizer to area farmers for several years. Janice passed away on May 12, 2002.
Bud later married Phyllis Lorena (Raney) Johnston on June 1, 2004. They made their home in Mtn. Grove, Missouri.
Bud was a wonderful and loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. No one had to ask Bud where he stood with the Lord as he would be the first to let you know. He was saved during his early years of marriage and was a long time member of the Cornerstone Freewill Baptist Church near Mtn. Grove. He enjoyed attending services as long as his health permitted.
Bud loved to fish and continued to do so until three weeks before his death.
Besides his parents and his first wife, he was preceded in death by an infant brother: Melvin Eugene Wade.
He is survived by his loving wife: Phyllis Wade of their home; his daughter and son-in-law: Robin and Rick Allen of Vanzant, Missouri; four sisters: Pauline Dorris, Betty McLean and her husband, Lewis, Jeanine Lawler and her husband, Bill, and Jeanette Riley and her husband, Kevin; four grandchildren; Bryan, Ryan, Stacey, and Heather; six great-grandchildren: Ryanna, Corey, Colton, Carson, Hannah, and Emma; three step-children: Alan Johnston and his wife, Linda of Sparta, Missouri, Dennis Johnston and his wife, Leana of El Dorado Springs, Missouri, and Bonnie McGownd and her husband, Derwin of Mtn. Grove; seven step-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.


Funeral Service:
Wednesday, June 27, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. in the Cornerstone Free Will Baptist Church, located west of Mtn. Grove, MO
No Formal Visitation:
Viewing will begin Tuesday, June 26, 2007 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
Interment:
Hillcrest Cemetery, Mtn. Grove, MO
