Dave Curran

David Eugene Curran, son of Norman Gerhardt Curran and Helen Betty Curran (Honaker), was born February 1, 1962, in Madison, Indiana, and departed this life February 21, 2023, at his home in Mountain Grove, Missouri. He was 61 years and 20 days of age.

David grew up in Indiana but later moved to Florida, where he met and married his wife, Wendy, on July 25, 1992. With this union he gained 3 sons, and the next year welcomed a daughter. A few years later they made their home in Missouri and remained married for 28 years.

David loved to “piddle” and “tinker” with various projects, and often used his construction and mechanic knowledge to help others in need. He gave whatever he had to give to help someone, even if all he could provide was a smile or helping hand. Anyone who ever met him can attest, he had a “gift to gab”. If you met as strangers, give him 5 minutes and you’d know his life story and be his friend for life. He loved people, but also very much enjoyed pranking them from the time he was a small boy. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He loved to hunt, but was unsuccessful more times than not because his love for conversation was greater than the deer he was after. He liked to be outdoors and was happiest camping with his wife and friends at the lake.

David was preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Helen Curran, and his wife, Wendy Curran.

David is survived by brothers, Norman Ray Curran, Gary Curran and his wife, Cleo, and Rodney Curran and his wife, Lori, daughter, Tiffanie Stumpff and her husband, Zach, sons, Thomas Bosse II and his wife, Jennifer, Blake Bosse and his wife, Tiffini, and John Bosse, grandchildren, Kristen Bosse, Thomas Bosse III, Matthew Bosse, Eden Stumpff, and Emberlyn Stumpff, great-grandchildren, Annabella Walker and RaeLynn Walker, and many other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.
