Dawn W. Cooper (Alexander)

Dawn Winona Cooper, daughter of the late Alvin and Anna (Crego) Alexander, was born February 23, 1968, in St. Louis, Missouri, and departed this life October 2, 2015, at her home in Mountain Grove, Missouri. She was 47 years, 7 months, and 9 days of age.
Dawn grew up in the Mountain Grove community and was a graduate of the Mountain Grove High School class of 1986. She was united in marriage to Bryan Matlock in 1988. One child was born to this union. In 1994, Dawn was united in marriage to Curtis Harris. Two daughters were born to this union. In 2012, Dawn was united in marriage to Patrick Cooper.
Dawn had many hobbies and especially enjoyed reading, decorating, photography, and painting toe nails. She also loved making food for her family, spending time with family and friends, but most especially, her children.
Dawn is survived by three sons: Bryce Matlock of Springfield, Missouri, Daniel Cooper of Mountain Grove, and Brock Cooper of Salem, Missouri; three daughters: Taylor Harris of Mountain Grove, Madi Harris of Mountain Grove, and Kirsten Collins of Lebanon, Missouri; many other relatives and friends who will dearly miss her.


Memorial Service: Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at 7:00 PM in the Craig-Hurtt Chapel.

Burial: Hillcrest Cemetery at a later date.
