Debra Ann (Staggs) Maynard

Debra Ann Maynard, daughter of James and Glenda (Phillips) Staggs, was born on June 6, 1957 in Modesto, California, and departed this life on February 12, 2013 in the Autumn Oaks Caring Center in Mtn. Grove, Missouri, following a short stay. She was 55 years, 8 months and 6 days of age.
Debra grew up and attended school in Modesto, California. She lived in various places before moving to Missouri. For the past twenty years, she made her home in the Mtn. Grove, Missouri area.
Debra enjoyed being outdoors, especially when camping, fishing, canoeing, and gardening. She loved get-togethers and barbeques with her friends and family. She was a positive person who enjoyed life. She was very witty and could make you smile, even when you didn’t want to. She loved helping others and was always willing to give a helping hand to those in need.
She was known as a crafty person, who enjoyed making all kinds of crafts and doing art projects.
Debra was preceded in death by her mother: Glenda Staggs; one brother: Richard Staggs; and by a sister: Ramona Parker.
Survivors include her father: James Staggs of Willow Springs, Missouri; her companion and best friend for many years: Denny Schilling; three sons: Christopher Hodo, Rusty Schilling, and Cody Schilling; three daughters: Michelle Adams, Crystal Hardman, and Austyn Ellison; three brothers: Troy Staggs, Robert Staggs, and Dennis Staggs; seven grandchildren: Kiel Ellison, Trinity Hodo, Katlynn Ellison, Kyle Hardman, Jakob Ellison, Jenna Hardman, and Koda Hardman; and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss her very much.

Visitation: Sunday,
February 17th from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
in the funeral home.
