Debra Irene Blacketer

Debra Irene Blacketer, daughter of Eldon Ray and Sandra (Mears) Blacketer, was born on February 24, 1969 in Houston, Missouri, and passed away on June 7, 2009 in the St. John’s Regional Health Care Center in Springfield, Missouri following a long illness.
She grew up and attended school in Mtn. Grove. She enjoyed singing, playing games on the computer, playing cards, and spending time her beloved cat, Lily.
She was a loving daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece and friend. She looked forward to spending time with her nieces whenever possible and visiting with her family and friends. She will be truly missed by those who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by a brother: Eldon Ray Blacketer Jr.; her paternal grandfather: Hollis Cecil Blacketer; and by her maternal grandfather: William Waggle. She is survived by her father: Ray Blacketer of Mtn. Grove; Sandra Mears of Mtn. Grove; one brother: Ronald Mears Jr. of Bonne Terre, Missouri; three sisters: Dawn Blacketer of Marion, North Carolina, Raelene Blacketer of St. Louis, Missouri, and Jamie Christison of Springfield, Missouri; her paternal grandmother: Helen McCune of Mtn. Grove; her maternal grandmother: Hazel Fox of Mtn. Grove; aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews; great-nieces; great-nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.


Funeral Services:
Thursday, June 11th at 10:00 AM in the Craig-Hurtt Chapel.
Visitation:
Wednesday, June 10th from 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM in the funeral home.
