Delia Ruth (Lemons) Wiedner was born June 15, 1936, in Huggins, Missouri, to the late Tennyson and Arizona (Watts) Lemons. Delia went to her heavenly home on April 24, 2019, after bravely battling a long illness.
Delia was the youngest of five siblings and was preceded in death by her four brothers, Ancel Lemons, Wayne Lemons, Delbert Lemons, and Leo Lemons. Her childhood memories were made with her loving family at their home near Huggins, Missouri. She was saved and baptized at an early age and attended the Church of Christ. Her church family was dear to her and a very important part of her life.
Delia graduated from Plato High School in 1954. She later married and moved to Kansas City, Missouri, where she resided most of her adult life. To that marriage were born her two sons, Tenny Adams and Kenny Adams. Delia devoted her entire life to loving and caring for her two boys.
Delia is survived by her two sons, Tenny Adams of Blue Springs, Missouri, and Kenny Adams of Independence, Missouri, two granddaughters, Jenna and Addie, and one great-grandson, Liam. Other survivors include several nieces and nephews and her special guardian angels, Larry and Judy Beck, of Independence, Missouri
