Delsie Hastings

September 4, 1932 — April 9, 2021

Delsie Iola (Tooley) Hastings, daughter of the late Harry James and Pearl (Hicks) Tooley, was born September 4, 1932, in Hartville, Missouri. She left this world for her Heavenly home on April 9, 2021, at the age of 88 years.

Delsie married Pete Hastings on March 3, 1951. She was a member of Willow Springs Free Will Baptist Church where she attended for several years. She was a hard worker and never met a stranger. Delsie was loved by everyone that knew her. She dearly loved her children and grandchildren. Delsie also enjoyed tending to her flower and vegetable gardens and going to yard sales.

Besides her parents, Delsie was preceded in death by her husband, Pete, and two sons, Ronnie and Frank Hastings.

She is survived by four daughters, Evelyn Jones and her husband, James, of Mountain Grove, Missouri, Shirley Jones and her husband, Wayne, of Mountain Grove, Missouri, Donna Wyrick of Warsaw, Missouri, and Amy Hornback and her husband, Tim, of Milan, Illinois, two sisters, Annie (Tooley) Wilson, and Ruby Kennedy and her husband, Charles, three brothers, Eddie Fullington, Larry Fullington and his wife, Diane, Bobby Tooley and his wife, Margie, eight grandchildren, Sarah Burkhart, Jamie Jones, Eric Jones, Carrie Hines, Matthew and Amanda Harness, and Ashlyn and Ian Hornback, twelve great-grandchildren, Madison and Ryan Burkhart, Sophia and Sam Frank, Caleb and Hailey Jones, Jasmine and Isaac Hines, Evan, Jaden, and Hunter Harness, and Hailey Hills, one great-great-grandchild, Lucas James McNeil, and other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her.
