She was born on October 22, 1917 in Manes, Missouri, and passed away on February 17, 2014 in the Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri, to join her Lord and Savior in the Kingdom of Heaven. She has been reunited with her husband: Avery “Red” Gaddis; her parents, and brothers, Giffin, Cecil and Angus Crisp.

Dorothy was born and raised in the Manes area. She was united in marriage to Avery M. “Red” Gaddis in 1941. Shortly after their marriage, they bought a farm in the Manes area, where she was living at the time of her passing.
