Edward Walter Seymour

Edward Walter Seymour, son of the late Carl Laverne and Mary Elizabeth (Thompson) Seymour, was born September 17, 1941 in Tarkio, Missouri, and departed this life May 24, 2017 at his home in Mountain Grove, Missouri. He was 75 years, 8 months, and 7 days of age.
Ed was raised in Fairfax, Missouri, and graduated from Fairfax High School in 1959. He served his county in the Air Force for eight years.
Ed married Catherine Keenan on January 29, 1963 in Tacoma, Washington. Three children were born to this union: Grady “Gus”, Patty, and Carrie.
Ed spent the last thirty years living in Mountain Grove. He owned and operated Ed’s Towing. Ed enjoyed going on motorcycle trips with his friends and family and having coffee everyday with his buddies at the coffee shop.
Besides his parents, Ed was preceded in death by three brothers, Raymond, Melvin, and Glen Seymour, and by one sister-in-law, Marion Seymour.
He is survived by his wife, Catherine, of their home, his son, Grady “Gus” Seymour and his wife, Pam, of O’Neill, Nebraska, two daughters, Patty Hebert and her husband, Paul, of Rogersville, Missouri, and Carrie Brown and her husband, Roy, of Mountain Grove, three sisters-in-law, Donna Seymour of Kansas City, Missouri, Jackie Seymour of Topeka, Kansas, and Thelma Seymour of Mansfield, Missouri, three grandchildren, Chris Seymour, Sydney Hebert, and Darby Hebert, and three great-grandchildren, Catherine, Chasity, and Christin, and by many other family and friends who will dearly miss him.
