Euland Mcguire

February 20, 1924 — October 28, 2016

Euland Mont McGuire, son of the late Mont and Verda (Butts) McGuire, was born on February 20, 1924 at Huggins, Missouri. He passed away on October 28, 2016 in Autumn Oaks Caring Center in Mountain Grove. He was 92 years, 8 months, and 8 days of age.



Euland grew up and attended school in the Huggins community. On July 27, 1944, he was drafted into the United States Army and served his country overseas in World War II on the frontlines in Germany. Following his military service, Euland worked at Fort Leonard Wood.



On April 24, 1957, he and Anna Mae Baker were married in Huggins, Missouri by Rev. Ezra Butts. After they were married they moved to California, where they lived the majority of their lives. After Anna passed away, Euland moved back to Missouri where he lived the remainder of his life.


Visitation: Monday, October 31, 2016 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home.

Funeral Service: Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home.

Burial: Dutch Chapel Cemetery.

Memorial Contributions: Donor's choice in c/o the funeral home.
