Eunice Ann Breeden

January 4, 1950 — December 9, 2014

Farewell to Eunice Ann Breeden. Eunice was the first daughter born on January 4, 1950 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, to James Monroe and Mary Edith (Hester) Breeden. She was a sister to nine brothers: Albert, Ray, Don, Ed, Freddie, Carl, Jim, Larry, and Roger Breeden; and one sister: Luetta Sue Breeden.

During her life, Eunice lived in Broseley, Missouri. There she attended school and was taught braille because of an eye problem from birth. Later in life it was corrected. In 1952, the family moved to several different places in California, first living with relatives, then built a family home on Pleasant Hill Road in Sebastopol, California, where she spent all her years growing up.

Eunice was a person of simple values of life. She was very kind, patient, helpful, and faithful to everyone. Especially to her mother and dad, no matter what they requested. At a young age, Eunice learned the value of hard work in cooking, doing laundry, and cleaning the family home for her mother. Eunice cared for her younger brother and sister, and her many nieces and nephews as they spent time at the family home.

A few of her favorite childhood memories included picking apples in the summertime in Sebastopol orchard, visits from her Grandmother Hester and Aunt Annie from Missouri, and at the age of 9, Eunice got a very special dress to wear to her big brothers wedding. She was very proud of that dress.

Eunice was faithful and showed it by keeping her promises. When she went to town to grocery shop, she always promised the children she would bring them a surprise and she made it come true for them. She had to have someone to take her, because she never did drive.

Eunice will always be remembered by her floured hand as fresh biscuits were at every meal. It was just a way of life in their home. Eunice was faithful to her dad, for she always had a cup of fresh coffee ready for him at his place at the table.

In 1988, after the death of her mother and father, Eunice, Luetta, and some of her brothers moved to Kelsyville, California and in 2003 they moved to Norwood, Missouri. She attended the Norwood Assembly of God Church.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers: Ray Breeden and Don Breeden.

She is survived by seven brothers: Al Breeden and his wife, Pat, of Petaluma, California, Ed Breeden and his wife, Daisy, of Santa Rosa, California, Fred Breeden of Norwood, Missouri, Carl Breeden and his wife, Sherry, of Red Wood Valley, California, Jim Breeden and his wife, Eileen, of Santa Rosa, California, Larry Breeden of Mountain Grove, Missouri, and Roger Breeden of Norwood, Missouri; one sister: Luetta Breeden of Norwood, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews.

On December 9, 2014, God made a plan for Eunice Ann Breeden not to suffer any longer. God took her to be His angel. This is a farewell to Eunices life. Well miss your kind acts, your loving words, and your happy ways. Well miss the joy of your presence, the comfort of your smiling face. You always gave us help, love, and inspiration like the beautiful sight of a bird in the rain, or after a rain storm. Well let the beautiful memories of you remain in our hearts forever.
