Evelyn J. Asmussen

Evelyn (Velder) Asmussen, daughter of the late John and Regina (Herlilsus) Velder, entered into the Kingdom of our Lord on April 23, 2020, at the age of 88. She was born on October 22, 1931, in Petersburg, Nebraska, and resided in Neligh, Nebraska, for most of her life.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Hilary Asmussen, and nine of her brothers and sisters.

She is survived by two sisters, Marie Cheetam & Judy Asmussen, three sons, Bill Pittack, David Pittack, and Eric Asmussen, one daughter, Pamela Lopez, three step-children, Susan Wesenberg, Michael Pittack (LeeAnne), and Andrew Pittack, several foster children, nineteen grandchildren, numerous nephews and nieces, and great-nephews and great-nieces. She will be dearly missed.
