Farrel Vaughn Barnes

Farrel Vaughn Barnes, son of Fern and Elma (Baker) Barnes, was born on May 22, 1958 in Mtn. Grove, Missouri, and went to be with the Lord on June 6, 2007 in the Beautiful Savior Care Center in Belton, Missouri, following a long illness. He was 49 years and 14 days of age.
Farrel spent his early years in the Mtn. Grove area and moved to Belton, Missouri, where he was living at the time of his passing. He was a very special person who loved being around other people. He enjoyed watching ballgames, fishing, and spending time with his loved ones.
He was employed as a laborer for a die cast manufacturing company for several years.
He was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend who will be truly missed by those who knew and loved him.
Farrel was preceded in death by his father: Fern Barnes; and by a nephew: John Barnes.
He is survived by his mother: Elma Barnes of Belton, Missouri; two brothers: Lonnie Barnes of Cabool, Missouri, and Donald Barnes of Waynesville, Missouri; four sisters: Audrey Delcour of Quincy, Illinois, Wilma Todd of Cleveland, Missouri, Ina Gebelin of Crane, Missouri, and Leotta Moore of Mtn. Grove, Missouri; 9 nieces; 8 nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Farrel Barnes were held Saturday, June 9, 10:00 AM in the Craig-Hurtt Chapel, Mtn. Grove, Missouri, with Rev. Junior Hutsell officiating. Burial was in the Dutch Chapel Cemetery under the direction of the Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home, Mtn. Grove, Missouri.
