Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson: Randy Walkowe; a great-grandson: Damien Miron; two brothers: William Walkowe and Joseph Walkowe; and by one sister: Gertrude Moore.
He is survived his loving wife, Betty Walkowe, of their home near Cabool, Missouri; by seven children: Dianne (Gerald) Peirce, Sharon Kleinschmidt, Gail (Kenneth) Miller, June Beaubien, Frank Walkowe, Denise (Rodney) Gerth, and Danette (Stanley) Ericson; sixteen grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and other relatives, neighbors and friends who will sadly miss him.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Deacon Joe Kurtenbach, Nurse Payree Short, and Hospice Compassus, for all the love and care they provided.
