George Randall Gilbert

George Randall “Randy” Gilbert, son of H. Kenneth and Fern Elva (Liles) Gilbert, was born on June 24, 1960 in Merced, California, and passed away on Wednesday, January 11, 2012 in the St. John’s Regional Health Center in Springfield, Missouri, at 51 years of age.
Randy grew up and attended school in Exeter, California and graduated from Exeter High School in 1978.
Randy was known as a person with a big heart, who would help any one in need. He loved his family very much and enjoyed spending time with those around him.
He was preceded in death by his mother: Fern Elva Gilbert; and by two brothers: Michael Gilbert and Rebel Gilbert.
He is survived by his son: Randy Gilbert, who is serving in the United States Air Force; his daughter: Jennifer Gilbert of Visalia, California; his father and step-mother: Kenneth and Nita Gilbert of Exeter, California; four brothers and their wives: Kenny and Redona Gilbert, Donald and Wava Gilbert and Rocky and Sherri Gilbert, all of Mtn. Grove, and Ronald and Ann Gilbert of Cushing, Oklahoma; one grandson: Matthew Edwards; and a host of other relatives, neighbors and friends who will sadly miss him.
