Glen Everett Seymour

February 18, 1948 — March 5, 2011

Glen grew up in Fairfax, Missouri, and graduated from Fairfax High School in 1966. After high school, Glen entered the United States Air Force in 1967 and served during the Vietnam War. He continued his service in the Reserves until 1973.
Glen married Jackie Taylor on February 10, 1971 in St. Joseph, Missouri.
He worked for Fleming Foods from 1972 to 1994. He began Glenco Home Inspection in the late 1990’s and continued that business until 2002.
Glen and Jackie moved to Mountain Grove, Missouri, in 2007. Shortly after moving to the area, Glen became a dispatcher for the Mountain Grove Police Department.
Glen enjoyed mowing for himself and for friends. He also enjoyed motorcycling and spending time with his friends and family, especially his grandchildren. One of his favorite hobbies was going to the local café to visit with people.
Glen was preceded in death by his parents, one brother: Melvin Seymour; and by one son: Chad Seymour.
He is survived by his loving wife of the home: Jackie; one Son: Glen Dale Seymour and his wife, Carrie, of Berryton, Kansas; two brothers: Raymond Seymour and his wife, Thelma, and Edward Seymour and his wife, Cathy, all of Mountain Grove, Missouri; three grandchildren: Brianna, Baylee, and Colby Seymour; and many other friends, relatives, and neighbors who will greatly miss him.
