Glenna Kidd

Glenna Mae Kidd, daughter of the late Raymond and Ola (Smallwood) Goodwine, was born March 18, 1933 in Dyersburg, Tennessee and departed this life February 20, 2017 in Mountain Grove, Missouri. She was 83 years, 11 months, and 2 days of age.

Glenna grew up and attended school in the Mountain Grove area. She was united in marriage to Dale Kidd on March 4, 1955, in Miami, Oklahoma. Two children were born to this union. Glenna worked for Brown Shoe Company in Mountain Grove for several years. She later served as manager for many years at Jerrys Menswear in Mountain Grove.

Glenna enjoyed bowling, painting, and woodworking crafts. She greatly enjoyed watching baseball games and especially loved cheering for her grandson. She was a kind and loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Besides her parents, Glenna was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Kidd and by one daughter, Lavada Crisp.

Glenna is survived by her son, Michael Kidd of Mountain Grove, five grandchildren, Nathan Kidd, Kera Johnson, Brandie Robb, George Crisp, and Derrick Hensley, and seven great-grandchildren.
