Harold Wayne Pearman

Harold Wayne Pearman, son of John and Jewell (Broyles) Pearman, was born June 24, 1951, in Mountain Grove, Missouri. He passed away at his home in Colorado Springs, Colorado, May 27, 2018, surrounded by his family. He was 66 years, 11 months, and 3 days of age.

Harold graduated from Mountain Grove High School in 1969 and went to West Point Military Academy for two years. He transferred to Missouri University where he received a degree in Civil Engineering. After graduation, he worked for Texaco in New Orleans and then later worked for McDermott for 2 ½ years on an overseas assignment.

His first child, Courtney, was born in 1977 and his second child, Jared, was born in 1980, while he lived in New Orleans. He later moved to Florida where he established his own successful business in building and engineering. Harold and Debbie moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado, in 2009, where he fell in love with Pikes Peak. He also fell in love with golfing again. Harold and Debbie climbed the Manitou Incline at Pikes Peak and were married at the top on November 30, 2013.

Harold was diagnosed with cancer in 2014 and has been fighting the terrible disease until he lost the battle on May 28, 2018.

He was preceded in death by his two brothers, Daniel and Jimmy Ray Pearman, his maternal grandparents, Roy and Jessie Broyles, and his paternal grandparents, Clarence and Novella Pearman.

He is survived by his wife, Debbie, of their home in Colorado Springs, Colorado, his parents, John and Jewell Pearman, of Mountain Grove, Missouri, his two sons, Courtney Pearman of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Jared Pearman of Calgary, Canada, three granddaughters, Jaida, Everen, and Anora, one step-son, Michael Walsh, of North Dakota, one step-daughter, Shannon Wilkins of Greeley, Colorado, three step-grandchildren, Aiella, Caisen, and Sarah, one sister-in-law, Terri Lynn Manning of Colorado Springs, Colorado, one nephew, Jamie Pearman of Nixa, Missouri, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
