Harriet R. Dinsmore

July 13, 1959 — August 18, 2022

Harriet Dinsmore was born on July 13, 1959 at Groton, Connecticut, to the late Kenneth Booth Dinsmore and Evelyn Elizabeth (Macomber) Dinsmore. She passed from this life on August 18, 2022, at her home in Hartville, Missouri, at 63 years of age.

Harriet grew up in Connecticut and graduated from high school. She moved to Wright County, Missouri, nine years ago. She married Charlie Stranghoner on October 24, 2015, at their farm. She loved living on the farm with her favorite horse, Ace, and her dogs, Sammie and Jade. Harriet enjoyed raising flowers and had several flower beds in the yard. She was very skilled at glass etching and making jewelry. Her glass etchings were popular far and wide, and she made many projects on special order. She had worked as a custodian for the City of Mountain for several years. She was saved and baptized at a young age and is now resting in the arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ.

Harriet is survived by her husband, Charlie Stranghoner of their home; one brother, Kenneth Dinsmore of Sitka, Alaska; her niece, Autumn Dinsmore of Sitka, Alaska; a brother-in-law, Bill Stranghoner and his wife, Vicki of Mount Vernon, Missouri; a sister-in-law, Bertie Stranghoner and her significant other, Pete McNeal of Mansfield, Missouri; and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss her very much.

The family will be holding a Celebration of Life gathering at their farm on Saturday, September 3, 2022, from 2:00 - 4:00 PM.
