Harry Winterland

Harry Tony Eugene Winterland, son of the late Anton Joseph and Mercedes (Bratton) Winterland, was born on February 25, 1936, in Cropsey, Illinois, and departed this life on August 12, 2016, at Ozarks Medical Center in West Plains, Missouri. He was 80 years, 5 months, and 18 days of age.
Tony was united in marriage to Muriel Rudisill on July 16, 1955, in Lexington, Illinois. Four children were born to this union: Tony, Pamela, Rodney, and Debra.
Tony attended school and resided in Lexington, Illinois. He was a member of the Church of Christ. He worked for the Lexington Police Department for 5 years. Tony worked as a heavy equipment operator, and retired after 50 years at Mid Central Operating Engineers.
Tony was a member of Mohammed Shrine in Peoria, Illinois, and Sahara Shrine in Little Rock, Arkansas. Tony was also a member of Bloomington Consistory and a 50 year member of the Masonic Lodge.
Tony loved being with his family and friends. He greatly enjoyed woodworking, painting, and going camping. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his parents, Tony was preceded in death by two sons: Tony Winterland and Rodney Winterland; one brother: Henry Redding.
Tony is survived by his wife: Muriel Winterland of Dora, Missouri; two daughters: Pamela Bolduc of El Paso, Illinois, and Debra Miller and her husband, Jimmy, of Mountain Grove, Missouri; one sister: Edwina Bowman; one sister-in-law: Helen Friedman; one brother-in-law: Frank Rudisill, Jr.; three grandchildren: Nicole Nichols and her husband, Jake, Anthony Blake Hadfield, and Dylan Kinsella; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.
