Heidi O'Donnell

Heidi O’Donnell, daughter of the late Fredrick and Hedwig (Werner) Pfau of Viernheim, Germany, was born on October 1, 1939 in Ludwigshafan, Germany and passed away on June 12, 2011 in the St. John’s Regional Health Center in Springfield, Missouri. She was 71 years, 8 months and 11 days of age.
Heidi grew up and attended school in Germany. She came to the United States in 1964 and had lived in the Mtn. Grove area for the past forty years, and called it home.
Heidi enjoyed fishing, playing bingo, gardening, hunting mushrooms each year, playing miniature golf, and spending time with her dog “Lilly.”
At the time of her passing, she was attending the Calvary Temple Church near Mtn. Grove.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers: Hans Pfau, Werner Pfau, and Carl Pfau; and by a sister: Ruth Wieme.
She is survived by her children: Ava Callaway (Brenda Kay Cooper) of Clearwater, Florida, Nathan Patrick Smith and his wife, Helen, of Walnut Shade, Missouri, Bobby Dean Smith and his wife, Carrie, of Vernon, Connecticut, Sharon Sue Thompson of Cartersville, Georgia, Karmen Lea Greer of Mtn. Grove, Missouri and Terry Lynn Barlow of Mtn. Grove, Missouri; one brother: Heinrich Pfau of Viernheim, Germany; and by twin sisters: Gerlinda Colletti and Christa Klavins, both of Hartford, Connecticut; eighteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; numerous nieces; nephews; and other relatives and friends who will miss her very much.
