Helen Alene Robinson

Helen Alene Robinson, daughter of the late Clarence and Ruth (Reser) Lansdown, was born July 13, 1939 in Mansfield, Missouri, and departed this life February 15, 2017 in Springfield, Missouri. She was 77 years, 7 months, and 2 days of age.

Helen and Bill Robinson were united in marriage on December 14, 1957 in Tulare, California. They enjoyed 59 years of marriage, but had grown up from childhood together, starting with Bill pulling her in his little red wagon. They were together all the time and you never saw one without the other.

Helen loved to be outdoors at the first sign of new life popping up in the spring time. This is where Helen and Bill would spend most of the day. She loved her irises and couldnt wait to see which colors would be the next to bloom.

She also enjoyed crocheting and spent her winter months crocheting doilies of all sizes. Every table, stool, lamp shade, armrest, and pillow in the house had to have a doily!!!

Helens greatest adventures were her numerous trips to the junk stores to see what treasures she could bring home and add to the houseful of treasures she already had. She always said, You can never have too many lamps. She was a true collector of many things and loved each and every collection she had.

She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Troy Lansdown.

Helen is survived by her husband, Bill, of the home in Graff, Missouri; three sons: Randal Robinson of Exeter, California, Greg Robinson of Fresno, California, and Darin Robinson of Exeter, California; one daughter: Dara Harr and her husband, Rawliegh, of Mountain Grove, Missouri; five grandchildren: Amy Harr, Courtnie Robinson, Ashley Robinson, Hailey Robinson, and Amber Robinson; one sister: Virginia Fisher and her husband, Elmer, of Mountain Grove, Missouri; a very special nephew: Bryan Fisher of Mountain Grove, Missouri; and many other relatives and friends who will greatly miss her.
