Imogene Patricia (Warren) Turner

February 2, 1935 — October 2, 2013

Imogene Patricia Turner, daughter of the late Leslie B. and Beatrice (Dunn) Warren, was born on February 2, 1935 in Eldorado, Kansas, and departed this life on Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at her residence in Douglas County, Missouri. She was 78 years and 8 months of age.
Imogene grew up and attended school in Kansas. She was united in marriage to Bill Chastain, Sr., on September 3, 1950. Five children were born to this union. The family moved to Orange County, California where they lived for several years. They later moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, and then on to Missouri, where Imogene became the mother of two more daughters.
She later married Harvey Turner, who preceded her in death.
Imogene was a true homemaker all her life. She enjoyed taking care of her family, gardening, cooking, baking, sewing, and quilting.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, friend and neighbor.
Besides her parents and her second husband, she was preceded in death by a son: Billy Chastain, Jr.; and by one brother and two sisters.
She is survived by two sons: Terry Chastain and his wife, Delores, of Ava, Missouri, and Ronald Chastain and his wife, Barbara, of Mtn. Grove; four daughters: Sharon Chastain of Ava, Missouri, Pat Alcorn and her husband, Gary, of Mtn. Grove, Jeana Kight of Norwood, Missouri, and Lisa Medford of Mtn. Grove; one sister: Kitty Rollings of Tacoma, Washington; thirteen grandchildren; thirty-two great-grandchildren; her first husband: Bill Chastain; and other relatives and friends who will miss her very much.

Graveside Service:
Friday, October 4, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Eaton Cemetery.

Visitation:
Friday, October 4, 2013 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home.
