Ina Agnes (Massey) Wade

Ina Agnes (Massey) Wade, daughter of the late Albert and Dora (Key) Massey, was born on February 20, 1913 at Huggins, Missouri and departed this life on July 11, 2010 in Houston House, in Houston, Missouri. She was 97 years, 4 months and 21 days of age.
Ina grew up in the Huggins Community and attended the Number One School. She was born in a two story log house that still remains on the farm where she lived until her passing.
On December 24, 1931 she was united in marriage to Luther Wade. They were happily married for forty-two years. Luther passed away on December 20, 1973.
Ina accepted Christ at an early age and joined the Number One Freewill Baptist Church. She loved her church and often said it was the first church her mother took her to. She attended as long as her health permitted.
She enjoyed gardening and canning her fruit and vegetables. Ina also loved quilting and was a member of the Number One Quilting Club for thirteen years. She also enjoyed exchanging recipes and visiting with her many friends. She liked helping people when she could, but most of all she loved the Lord and her church family.
Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers: Claude, Orville, and Lyle; and by two sisters: Erma and Vivian.
She is survived by one brother: Dearl and his wife, Ruth, of Houston, Missouri; several nieces; nephews; and a host of friends who will miss her very much.

Thursday, July 15, 10:00 AM in the Number One Church, Huggins, MO.
Visitation:
Wednesday, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM in the Craig-Hurtt Chapel.
