Irma (Kulik) Weijk

September 3, 1932 — March 13, 2013

Irma Weijk, daughter of the late Franz and Magdalena Kulik, was born on September 3, 1932 in Ludwigshafen, Germany, and passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 in the Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri, following a long illness. She was 80 years, 6 months and 10 days of age.
Irma grew up and attended school in Germany and was married to Verral Stephenson. She later married Ivan Weijk. He preceded her in death on September 18, 1988.
Irma had made her home in the Mtn. Grove area since 1965. She loved playing Bingo, which she played two or three times a week. She also liked to watch westerns on television.
Besides her parents and her husbands, she was preceded in death by one son: Jackie Stephenson.
She is survived by two sons: Fred Stephenson of Mtn. Grove, Missouri, and John Harris of Las Vegas, Nevada; one daughter: Carol Sisk of Kings Mountain, North Carolina; one sister: Gertrude Sattler of Germany; ten grandchildren: Christopher, Michael, Andrew, Stephanie, Kristin, Slade, Jacob, John, Brandon, and Erica; seven great-grandchildren: Isabel, Ean, Brayden, Roeinna, Lydian, Nathaniel, and Kyrie; and other relatives, neighbors and friends who will sadly miss her.

in the Lone Star Cemetery.
