Iva Berry

February 9, 1916 — April 29, 2009

Iva Berry, daughter of the late Harrison and Mary (Driskell) Tetrick, was born on February 9, 1916 in Trail, Missouri in Ozark County and passed away on Wednesday, April 29, 2009 at her residence in Drury, Missouri at 93 years of age.
Iva grew up and attended school in Ozark County and was united in marriage to Claud Berry in December of 1931. Four children were born to this union. They raised their family and lived all of their lives in Ozark and Douglas Counties.
Iva was known as an excellent cook who enjoyed cooking for her family and friends. She also enjoyed gardening, canning, quilting, square dancing and playing cards.
She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, neighbor and friend. She loved her family very much and looked forward to spending time with them. She will be truly missed by those who knew and loved her.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Claud Berry in 1996; a son: Darrell Berry; two brothers; and by three sisters.
She is survived by two sons: Elzie Berry and his wife, June, of Tightwad, Missouri, and Eddie Berry and his wife, Willa, of Drury, Missouri; one daughter: Gertie Estes and her husband, Travis, of Mtn. Grove, Missouri; nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.


Funeral Services:
Saturday, May 2, 11:00 AM in the Blanche Church.
Visitation:
Friday, May 1, 7:00 - 8:00 PM in the Craig-Hurtt Chapel.
Burial:
Blanche Cemetery
