Jacob Craddoc Shrum

Jacob “Jake” Craddoc Shrum, son of the late Jesse E. and Frances C. (Black) Shrum, was born August 14, 1939 at Scopus, Missouri and departed this life January 18, 2013 at the Hartville Care Center of Hartville, Missouri. He was 73 years of age.
Jake lived most all his life in Cape and Bollinger Counties before moving the Norwood and later Mountain Grove where he owned and operated Shrum’s Lawn Service. He was a member of the Victory Hill Church of Norwood.
Besides his parents, Jake was preceded in death by one sister: Katherine Hammer; and one brother: John C. Shrum.
Jake is survived by three brothers: Bill Shrum of Cape Girardeau, Jim Shrum of Cape Girardeau,
and Sam Shrum of Jackson; four sisters: Anna Korzen of Coroapolis, Pennsylvania, Lola Urhahn of Oran, Missouri, Jean Gilliland of Jackson, and Joy Baker of Jackson; one brother-in-law: Virgil Hammer of Festus; many other relatives and friends who will miss him.
