James 'Jim' Thomas Corder

James “Jim” Thomas Corder, son of the late Elmer T. and Pearl M. (Reans) Corder, was born on June 18, 1927 in Norwood, Missouri, and passed away on January 14, 2013 in the Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri, following a short illness. He was 85 year of age.
Following Jim’s birth, the family moved to Illinois where Jim attended school and graduated from high school in Plymouth, Illinois. In 1950, the family moved back to Missouri to make their home in the Mtn. Grove area. Jim worked as a service station attendant for several years.
His family was his life. Over the years that followed, he took great care of parents.
At the time of his passing, Jim had made his home in the Autumn Oaks Caring Center in Mtn. Grove.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister: Nell Marie Huffman.
Jim is survived by one sister: Ruth Eloise Tatham of Haines City, Florida; and many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.
