James Sartor

James Edwin Sartor, son of the late William D. and Florence Jane (Hovey) Sartor, was born January 2, 1952, in Moline, Illinois, and departed this life October 6, 2022, at his home in Mountain Grove, Missouri. He was 70 years, 9 months, and 4 days of age.

James graduated with the Mountain Grove High School class of 1969. He then served his country in the armed forces. Following his time in the military, James moved to Kansas where he worked on a farm. He later moved back to Missouri and began driving a truck. He also operated a garage north of Mountain Grove where he put his mechanic skills to practice. In his spare time, James liked being outdoors, especially when hunting and fishing.

Besides his parents, James was preceded in death by two brothers, Steve and Lonnie Sartor.

James is survived by one son, Kevin Sartor, one step-daughter, Melissa McMullen, one brother, Terry Sartor and wife, Tracy, sister-in-law, Cheryl Sartor, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends who will miss him greatly.
