Jane Yarber

February 2, 1933 — January 20, 2009

Alice Jane Yarber, daughter of Floyd and Vera (Donaldson) Buff, was born on February 2, 1933 in Mtn. View, Missouri and departed this life on Tuesday, January 20, 2009 in her home in Mtn. Grove, Missouri at the age of 75 years, 11 months and 18 days of age.
She was united in marriage to Max Eugene Yarber on December 27, 1948. Two daughters, Sandra and Patricia and two sons, Wade and Kent were born to this union.
Jane enjoyed spending time with her family and will always be remembered by her loved ones for her love of laughter, a good practical joke and her many stories of family get-togethers. Anyone that knew her knew she loved the Lord and gospel music of which she watched many hours of her favorite group The Gaithers. She loved bowling and bowled as long as her health allowed and then she enjoyed watching family and friend as well as giving instructions when they weren’t scoring well. Jane was always ready when family and friends came by for a game of cards or dominos, which she enjoyed to the fullest.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Floyd and Vera Buff; a brother: Jack Buff; a sister: Barbara David; and by a brother-in-law: Roy Herter.
She is survived by her loving husband of sixty-years: Max Yarber; her children: Sandra Housley and husband, Monte, Wade Yarber, Patricia Nunn, Kent Yarber and wife, Diane, all of Mtn. Grove; her grandchildren: Annette Burt of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Laura Martus and husband, Erwin, of Springfield, Missouri, Brooke Coffman and husband, Chad, of Cabool, Missouri, Joseph Yarber and wife, Susan, of Pineville, North Carolina, Wesley Crisp and wife, Teresa, of Norwood, Missouri, Loretta Ellis and husband, Donnie, Anthony Crisp and wife, Angela, Tara Emery and husband, Chris, Jennifer Alexander and husband, Alex, Wayco Yarber, Carrie Guilliams and husband, Jamie, Kirsten, Danielle and Candace Yarber, all of Mtn. Grove; twenty great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; one sister: Peggy Faught and husband, Lloyd, of Durand, Illinois; a brother-in-law: Lloyd David of Mtn. View, Missouri; brother and sisters-in-law: Evelyn Herter and Leo and Elaine Yarber, all of Overland Park, Kansas, Carl and Eunice Yarber of Mtn. View, Missouri and Jack and Vera Yarber of Birch Tree, Missouri; and a host of other relatives and friends. She will be greatly missed every second of the day for the rest of each one of our lives.

Saturday, January 24, 2009 at 1:00 PM in the Rock Chapel Freewill Baptist Church north of Norwood, Missouri.
Visitation:
Friday, January 23, 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM in the Craig-Hurtt Chapel.
Burial:
Hillcrest Cemetery
