Jimmy W. Bradshaw

Jimmy W. Bradshaw, son of the late Walter and Martha (Sparks) Bradshaw, was born on August 2, 1944 in Norwood, Missouri and departed this life suddenly on March 15, 2011 at the St. John’s Regional Health Center in Springfield, Missouri. He was 66 years, 7 months and 13 days of age.
Jimmy grew up in the Norwood area and graduated from Norwood High School in 1962. He was united in marriage to Dee McCall on June 17, 1966 in Norwood. Two children were born to this union, Rodney and Penny.
He was later married to Judy Ann Reed on January 12, 1990. They enjoyed going to stock car races, Silver Dollar City and spending time together. Judy passed away on February 1, 2006.
Jimmy was employed by Town & Country Supermarket in Mtn. Grove for thirty-three years. He had worked at McDonald’s in Mtn. Grove for the past several years and had recently retired.
Jimmy was a caring husband, father, brother and a very kind and friendly person who never met a stranger. He always made a point to speak to others and he made those around him feel good with his friendly personality. He will be truly missed by those who knew and loved him.
Jimmy had attended the Willow Springs Freewill Baptist Church near Mtn. Grove for several years.
Besides his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by his brother: Carl Bradshaw and by an infant brother: Tommie and an infant sister: Ruby; and by a brother-in-law: Ray Hurt.
He is survived by his son: Rodney Bradshaw and his wife, Crystal, of Springfield, Missouri; his daughter: Penny Bradshaw of Kingman, Kansas; three step-daughters: Kim Stigall and her husband, Larry, of Mtn. Grove, Lisa Carter Stewart of Bucyrus, and Pam Klarenbeek of Steen, Minnesota; one brother: Jack Bradshaw and his wife, Jean, of Mtn. Grove; three sisters: Frances Hurt of Mtn. Grove, Mary Lou Hutson and her husband, Darrell, of Lenexa, Kansas, and Judy Sullivan and her husband, Kenneth, of Norwood, Missouri; three grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; eight step-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

Visitation:
Thursday, March 17th, 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM in the funeral home.
