Jonathon Wayne Goodman

Jonathon Wayne Goodman, son of Kenneth and Nikki (Clark) Goodman, was born on July 8, 1972 in Springfield, Missouri and departed this life on April 3, 2011, following a drowning accident at Topaz Mill in Douglas County, Missouri, at 38 years of age.
Jonathon grew up in Springfield and Norwood. He graduated from Norwood High School in 1990. He worked in construction, hanging drywall.
He loved the outdoors, especially when fishing, hunting, riding his dirt bike, spending time at the creek and water skiing on area lakes.
He was a loving and caring son, father, grandson, brother, grandfather, friend and neighbor. He loved his family very much and enjoyed spending time with them and his many friends. He will be truly missed by those who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his father: Kenneth Lee Goodman in December 21, 2001; and by his paternal grandparents: John Chalmer Goodman in 1983 and Zelda F. (Johnson) Goodman on August 30, 2009.
He is survived by two sons: Kenny Wayne Goodman and Waylon Goodman, both of Springfield, Missouri; one daughter: Shelsie Sartor of Norwood, Missouri; a step-son: Tristan Brown of Springfield, Missouri; his mother: Nikki Delcour of Springfield, Missouri; two half-sisters: Kim and Shawna; one granddaughter: Marley Joe Bay; his maternal grandparents: Hugh and Gertie Clark and Roy and Sharon Laxson; several aunts; uncles; cousins, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service:
Friday, April 8th, 2:00 PM in the Craig-Hurtt Chapel.

Visitation:
Thursday, April 7th, 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM in the funeral home.

Memorial Contributions:
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions for the Jonathon Goodman Memorial Fund c/o the funeral home.
