Joyce Smith

Joyce Marie Smith, daughter of the late Leon Raymond and Freida (Hicks) Creed, was born December 15, 1956, in Mountain Grove, Missouri. Joyce passed away suddenly on March 12, 2022, at 65 years of age.

Joyce was raised in Mountain Grove and graduated from Mountain Grove High School in 1976. She married Ken Smith on February 18, 1977. Joyce was a homemaker and enjoyed taking care of her family. She collected figurines, loved shopping, and enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. Joyce loved always being on the go.

Besides her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Ken, in April 1988.

She is survived by two sons, Timothy Smith of Fordland, Missouri, and Daniel Smith (Danielle) of Ava, Missouri, two daughters, Stacy Ussery (Chris) of Mansfield, Missouri, and Tracy Smith (Wesley) of Rogersville, Missouri, one brother, Terry Creed (Deloris) of Mountain Grove, Missouri, two sisters, Virginia Polm and Mary Ann Polm, both of Cabool, Missouri, seventeen grandchildren, Kelsey Anderson, Kenny Smith, Dalton Smith, Odesa Smith, Kiana Rader, Lilly Smith, Kylie Smith, Dalton Smith, Trenton Smith, Trey Ussery, Kannon Smith, Zane Ussery, Malachi Ussery, Brycen Smith, Jacie Ussery, Hunter Smith, and Cole Smith, five great-grandchildren, Brentley, Noah, Nova, Adalynn, and Hudson, and many other relatives and friends who will miss her greatly.
