Kendall Joe Calhoun

Kendall Joe Calhoun was born October 30, 1960, at Elkhorn, Wisconsin and departed this life on July 3, 2014, at Medical City Hospital, Dallas, Texas, at the age of 53 years and 8 months after a long illness. Kendall was the son of the late Joe Calhoun and Lodema (Owens) Calhoun Mountain Grove, Missouri.


Kendall attended Mountain Grove High School. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Missouri State University, Springfield, Missouri, a Masters Degree in Computer Science Engineering at Rensselear Polytechnic Institute, Troy, New York, and a Masters Degree in Business from University of Phoenix in Phoenix, Arizona. He was employed at Raytheon, in Tucson, Arizona as a Senior Software Engineer.



Kendall married Cindy Piontkowski, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on March 26, 1988. They have two children: Cody Joe of the home, Allen, Texas, and Ashley Garcia, and her fianc, Shawn Manning, Allen, Texas. Three grandchildren: Cameron, Jessie, and Max. He is survived by two brothers: Lyndall and wife Cathy, Nixa, Missouri and Wendall and wife Jenny, Houston, Missouri; and many relatives and friends.



Kendall was saved at any early age and renewed his faith later in life. He enjoyed flying his airplane while his health permitted, and teasing his nephews, nieces, and brothers. He was a big guy with a big heart. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
