Kenneth Lee Jones

February 4, 1935 — November 3, 2022

Kenneth Lee Jones, son of the late Herby A. and Bertha (Jordan) Jones, was born February 4, 1935, in Wright County, Missouri, and passed away November 3, 2022, in Branson, Missouri. He was 87 years old.


Kenneth attended Coon Creek School in Wright County, Missouri. He married Bonnie Cogdill on November 2, 1956, in Hartville, Missouri.


Kenneth served his country in the United States Army as a Specialist E4 during the Korean War, before receiving an honorable discharge. Prior to retirement, he worked his entire career for MoDOT.


Kenneth enjoyed playing pool and visiting with his friends at the Hartville Senior Center. He especially enjoyed trading and making deals. He was always on the lookout for a good bargain. Kenneth was an active outdoorsman and loved hunting, fishing, and horseback riding.


He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Bonnie, a brother, Clyde Jones, and a sister, Ruth Ann Dugger.


Kenneth is survived by his daughters, Kenna Brunner of Stigler, Oklahoma, and Becky Wilkerson of Marshfield, Missouri, three grandchildren, Tiffany Quiring and husband, Chad, of Branson, Missouri, Shannon Rollins and Bryan Rollins of Springfield, Missouri, three great-grandchildren, Caden, Caleb, and Caylee all of Branson, Missouri, two sisters, Wanda White and Louise Harris both of Springfield, Missouri, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
