Lakeisha Renae Davault

July 20, 1997 — June 5, 2008

On June 5, 2008, a beautiful little girl, Lakeisha Renae Davault, was tragically and senselessly taken from us at the young age of ten. All the angels rejoiced when they saw her beautiful little face. She was born on July 20, 1997 to Ronnie Eugene Davualt Sr. and Ellen Mae Loman in Houston, Missouri.
Along with her loving momma and sister, they walked hand in hand into the arms of the Lord.
She was an honor student at Mtn. Grove Middle School and was going into the sixth grade. She loved school and was always eager to learn and had many awards for her academic achievements. She was a member of the choir and loved to sing and dance. “Sissy” as she was affectionately known to her family, had a great love of animals, especially her kitten, “Angel” and hamster, “Spanky.”
If you asked her she would tell you she had the “best mommy and daddy” in the whole wide world. She had her daddy wrapped around her little finger from the day she was born. She loved to go fishing and spend time with him.
Lakeisha is preceded in death by her brother: Bobby Loman; her maternal grandfather: Raymond Loman; her paternal grandparents: Walter and Mildred Davault.
She is survived by her very special daddy: Ronnie Davault Sr. of Mtn. Grove; two brothers: Ronnie Davault Jr. and his wife, Monica and Jeff Davault and his wife, Courtney, all of Norwood; her sister: Jeannette Driver of Pensacola, Florida; her grandmother: Ruth Gamel; aunt: Kathy Hines and her husband, Larry; aunts: Linda Hilton, Debra Mitchell, and Judith Leismister; uncle: James Loman and wife, Mary; several nieces; nephews; cousins; classmates; teachers; and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss her very much. Lakeisha was like a rainbow after the rain. She had a short life but made every minute count. She had accomplished much in her short stay with us. She had a long term plan: “She was going to be President of the United States one day.”
